This modestly sized snow-country home is defined by parallel natural stone walls topped with an expansive skylight, forming the core (or spine) of its layout.

These skylights illuminate the main living areas, filling it with natural light that enhancing the rich, organic textures of stone and live-edge wood slab doors. The result is a serene, light-filled retreat that feels both grounded in nature and open to the surrounding beauty.

From the 19-foot sliding glass wall that disappears seamlessly into the structure, to the water feature that feels as though it flows right into the living space, this design effortlessly brings the outdoors in. Nature becomes part of the interior experience, blurring boundaries and making the surrounding landscape a living, breathing part of the home. Designed and built as lead architect for Team Salt Design/Build.
