Nestled gracefully on a sagebrush-and-aspen hillside, this luxury residence offers panoramic views of Peak One, Lake Dillon and the Gore Range.
The home’s orientation, masses and expansive glass walls were obsessively analyzed to frame the stunning mountain peaks and ensure that every room captures the essence of the landscape. A standout feature of the home are the natural slate walls, which add a rich, layered element that interacts with the flying roof to create a sense of airy openness while hinting at subtle space delineations.
From the gourmet indoor-outdoor kitchen to the sunken outdoor seating and fire feature, this hillside haven is designed for relaxation and entertainment. Designed and built as lead architect for Team Salt Design/Build.
